Children are fearless. They are equally keen to explore new territories and soak up exciting experiences with family, friends and strangers alike. Children love to learn all the time, eager to keep their brains stocked up with little-known knowledge.
Though children may not be expected to know what they’d like to pursue as a career (some adults can’t even decide!), it may or may not come as a surprise that there is a type of job children can excel at – all in safe, professional settings with the bonus of a well-deserved pay cheque. Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it, parents?
We’re referring to modelling, of course. Through decades of experience, we know that child models have always been popular with our hundreds of clients. And we expect their popularity to increase during the coming months. Could your talented son or daughter be one of our next child models?
There have rarely been lulls in the demand for any types of models. There’s no reason why demand for our child models won’t surpass previous years, so we’ll be very happy to receive new child model applications to fulfil the growing number of requests.

Parents and children new to modelling want to know the types of jobs on offer with us. Our vast range of clients dictates we have hundreds of different of assignments available in all corners of the UK, and sometimes even abroad.
Children are very versatile, so they can be requested by any number of the brands we work with. We’ll try and break down some types of brands who are / have looked for children registered on our books, just to give parents some idea of what they might expect if their little ones get selected:
- Paddington Bear Experience. What a place to start. Perfect for children of all ages, the Paddington Bear Experience is a must-visit in central London. We helped them with their photo shoots by shortlisting the right families and children for them. See how some of the Models Direct talent got on by clicking here.
- Resorts. There are hundreds of UK holiday operators crying out for child models. Think adventure parks and seaside parks.
- Holidays. We’ve placed several child models with top brand names, such as Jet 2. They know how such little bundles of energy can make a huge impact.
- Supermarkets / large retail. Our big-name clients include Tesco, John Lewis and Morrisons. Think of the amount of marketing involved on these big scales…children are integral to hundreds of campaigns every year.
- Clothes. Well, of course. A classic example was when we were approached by Tottenham Hotspur FC…the result? See here for the one of the best examples of child modelling around.
- Disney. This needs no introduction. One of the biggest names we work with, this Disney Frozen job soon hotted up when our little star graced the set!
These are just a small selection of the types of assignments your child could be involved with. There are no restrictions, no boundaries.
