Yes, lovely trendsetters out there, you could be donning the newest collections of a new range with a newcomer or established brand. It really just depends on who meets us and needs our models to present their creative designs.
Take music artist, Lemzi, his Treblelek range was new merch and our young male and female models featured in photoshoots and a short video to showcase it. Meanwhile, female model Abigail was chosen for a De Montfort University fashion student’s catwalk. Here’s what she relayed about her fashion modelling experience:
“I was called today and asked if I was able to be in a catwalk for a fashion student at De Montfort University. Charlie was great in giving me all the information quickly. When I arrived I met up with the student and I was dressed in her garment. We also took some photos of the trench coat that I was wearing before the catwalk. Seeing all the outfits was such an amazing and insightful experience in the fashion world. I was instructed what to do, however we had freedom in our movement and poses. This was extremely fun and I enjoyed walking the catwalk and meeting other models. Thank you to Models Direct for this opportunity!”

We know – what a variation of assignments we get! To be honest, even our specialist modelling coordinators do not have an inkling of what’s to come every day. It takes us by surprise (in a good way!) as much as it does our models when we tell them they’ve been booked for a fashion-oriented assignment.
Emilia bagged an Oxford United Football assignment where she walked the streets of Oxford dressed in urban/streetwear which was a perfect fashion modelling assignment. She shared her views of the day here:
“I had a great fashion shoot in Oxford. We walked around the city centre, enjoying the historical attractions and scouting for viable spots as we went. Really loved the urban/streetwear vibe the client was going for and I can’t wait to see the results! I’m looking forward to more shoots like this.”
