Lots of companies take great pride in telling customers how much experience they have. They like to tell people how well their business is going, and how they’ll grow in the future.
And why not? An honest, accurate summary of a business’s experience gives customers a flavour of what they do, what they’re good at, and how they can help customers. Every business needs a steady stream of revenue to exist, but a lot of businesses care more about services and reputation than hard cash. Taking pride in their experience means they offer far more than just the supply of goods in exchange for cash.
We know we’re not the only experienced modelling agency out there. We know some others are hardworking and reputable. On the other hand, there are agencies that might proclaim to be experienced in placing modelling talent in jobs, but merely charge models for the “pleasure” of holding modelling photos in a portfolio with no intention of doing anything else. What we also know is that our experience and vision speak volumes, and both contributes to our success.
Transparency is important to how we work. We’re proud to tell everyone that our thriving agency started way back in 1990 by our Managing Director, Damian, and Suzy, our Operations Director. In the heady days of the 1990s, after they amassed a fair number of photos from inquisitive models, they applied to the Department of Employment and were issued one of the very first modelling agency licences. That formed the foundation on which Models Direct is based. To this day, we’re delighted every time a Models Direct model tells us how they enjoyed their assignments after being selected by our legions of notable clients. It’s quite a thrill, and it comes from clear-thinking ambition.
We always encourage anyone to contact us and to arrange a meeting – whether they have applied with us or not. We have a group of outstanding individuals at our Norwich head office that are just as happy as Damian and Suzy to hear what our models have achieved. It’s a collective experience in liaising with clients and models that produces great results – it’s why we keep amassing more clients and have the chance to give more models extra opportunities.
Our work ethos is straightforward, but it works. We charge models a modest fee for either one, two or three years to be on our books. We receive a huge volume of commercial modelling jobs every week, and we’ll always recommend the best-suited models to our clients. We’ll contact successful models after they’ve been chosen by clients, and support them from pre-booking and during the assignment, to after the job and payment (we always pay our models withing 5 working days from the end of their assignment).
Our booking agents have been with us for years, demonstrating how much they enjoy the highs of working for the country’s no.1 modelling employment agency. We wouldn’t be where we are today without the mix of top modelling talent, loyal clients, and top-notch colleagues.
Experience counts, and people matter.
