It has been an unusual summer in many ways but hopefully most of us will have had some kind of break and will be ready and raring again to get back to work again.
September is also a time of new beginnings.
Youngsters will be starting school again and the count-down to Christmas begins in the many businesses and industries for which the festive season is so important.
For those who work in modelling, it is also an exciting time.
At Modelling Direct, we experience a flurry of requests from clients who have returned from their holidays and quieter times at work ready to swing into action.
Furthermore, this is the time their Christmas campaigns really move into the fast lane as they step their activities up a gear or two and pull their plans together.
Potential new clients – anyone who thinks they might require a model or several models for a shoot, promotion or event – is therefore very welcome to contact us.
We have a great selection of models of all types and ages and a constant stream of new applications to ensure we can step up to help all our clients.
September is therefore not only a busy time for reputable agencies, such as ourselves, but also for our models.
Many of those who have worked for us for some time – male, female and child models – find this is traditionally a time when they are put forward for bookings.
And for others, who perhaps have no experience at all and are considering modelling for the first time, it may also be when they are offered their very first assignments.
Those who understand how the modelling industry works know there is never any guarantee of work but to be in the running you have to put yourself forward.
As highly experienced experts at finding the right models for the right jobs, our role is then to go through the portfolios of those on our books and to suggest anyone who might be suitable.
