Modelling for big brands – what to expect…

Big brands, big promotions, exciting modelling assignments!

At Models Direct many of our clients are big name brands that almost all of us would recognise.

Some of these are huge global names – McDonald’s, Amazon, BMW, Mercedes Benz and Ford, for example.

Others are big British brands – John Lewis, Boots, Tesco, Morrisons and Sainsbury’s.

We work for high street names like Marks & Spencer, River Island, Superdrug, Holland & Barrett and Next, as well as banks like NatWest, Barclays and Santander.

Other clients have included Estée Lauder, Mac Cosmetics, Lancôme and Calvin Klein.

It sounds impressive, but we are highly experienced at what we do and we have been in the business for over three decades now, which is why big name brands and their agents keep coming back to us.

For our models, working for big name brands is truly exciting – and there is nothing more rewarding for them and us than to see the final images, films, advertisements and publicity material.

But, for those who have never modelled for big brands before, there really is no reason to feel daunted.

Big name brands tend to use production companies, marketing agencies and photography or film operations that are all experts at what they do.

They know how to look after their models on set and they know exactly how to get the most out of them.

They have hair, make-up, set and lighting teams who together ensure a smooth operation on the day.

And their photographers, camera people and directors are always clear in their instructions to our models.

Modelling for big brands is great fun and the feedback we receive from our models reflects that.

After all, what could be more exciting than modelling for one of the names we all see every day on our screens, high streets and the pages of glossy magazines?

Charlotte modelled for Deliveroo and said afterwards:

“I had such a great time shooting the new commercial for Deliveroo, everyone was so friendly and the food was out of this world!

“I met some really amazing people and can’t wait for the next one.”

Natalie modelled for Microsoft and said:

“My whole family did a shoot for a global tech company and everything was so perfectly organised.

“The staff at Models Direct were so helpful, especially Marie, and everyone on set was lovely.

“We had our children with us and we were all looked after so well.

“It was a great experience which we thoroughly enjoyed. We would definitely recommend Models Direct!

“Thanks again for the opportunity!

Queenie the cat was a pet model for John Lewis and her owner told us:
