Modelling can be an exciting and lucrative career path but it can also be a competitive one!
For the savvy and determined model there are many things that you can do to maximise your chance of gaining model bookings successfully with Models Direct. This blog includes a few tips on ways you can ensure you are doing everything you can to break into the modelling world!
With the competitiveness of modelling world today many disabled models may be overlooked but at Models Direct, our policy is to offer all our models the same opportunities whether disabled or able bodied.
In addition to the everyday modelling assignments which are open to all disabled models, we have clients who want models to advertise disabled promotions or to sell specific disabled products. Although, as in the world of sport which has embraced disabled people for many years now, within the fashion and modelling industry we are learning that whatever disability you have there is a need to be inclusive when it comes to disabled models and not just to advertise wheelchairs!
Both male and female disabled models are welcome and whatever your disability, age or shape, whether you are in a wheelchair or an amputee, contact us now and have a chat about disabled modelling opportunities at Models Direct Model Agency.
Katie and Claire were excited to be selected for a promotional assignment with RGB Building Supplies at the ToolFair in Exeter!
Molly at Models Direct briefed them both on the job and for 2 days they would be greeting, chatting and promoting RGB Building supplies to potential new clients!
Well done to you both and the Models Direct team love the behind the scenes pics, particularly the photo booth pics!
The team here at Models Direct love love love the feedback we receive form our models when they have finished an assignment – it’s so great to hear how the assignment went and see the genuine excitement and enthusiasm in our models faces when they are buzzing from being involved in such an exciting and fun opportunity!
Modelling is incredibly competitive, but there is a big demand for talent in the industry for all types of assignments. We speak to clients everyday looking for extras for a commercial they are shooting, fashion models for a catalogue or look-book shoot, voice overs, and of course actors to being doubles or securing the staring role – we never know what the enquiry will be from one call to the next, the life of a booking agent is stressful and incredibly exciting!
The Models Direct team love to see our models in print, on television and in the media, it’s great to see the final images from an assignment our models have featured in and to have experienced an assignment with them from initial enquiry, through to the end result!
Recently our models Annie & Dom were selected for a bridal shoot in Swansea to promote a new wedding venue – the assignments team at Models Direct were given the brief to source a beautiful couple and Annie & Dom fitted the brief!
On the day they both attended fittings and Annie was styled by their glam team to ensure her hair and make up was just so! The feedback from the entire team was amazing and here are a few of the final pics!
