Being asked to spend the day exploring new interactive games on an Ipad is what most kids dream of…….
That’s just what the Models Direct team asked our junior models Zane, India and Jacob to do when they were successfully selected to feature in the new commercial for Pukka Pads!
The final commercial is now live and the Models Direct team couldn’t be more excited for the models that took part in such an exciting opportunity – here is what they had to say about their first filming experience!
Lots of parents who contact the team at Models Direct wonder whether their baby is suitable for baby modelling.
Every new parent will tell you that their bundle of joy is the cutest little baby on the planet, and who knows, they could be right.
But what many parents don’t realise is that there is a huge demand for baby models. Joining a baby modelling agency like Models Direct can be a great way to show off your adorable little tyke to the world.
The market for baby care products is one that will always remain strong. Regardless of economic conditions, manufacturers of baby care products need to promote their product range in what is a very large and competitive market. Every parent of a young child knows just how many baby care products there are, from rusks and cereals, to nappies and wipes, to rash cream and skincare products, to baby clothes, the list is endless.
While starting your baby on a path towards a modelling career might be the last thing on the mind of young parents, a baby modelling photo shoot can be a lot of fun for parents and baby alike. It’s clear from the feedback from parents of baby models that it’s a lot of fun for everyone.
From a Baby Model Mother…”I started my baby modelling at two months, and during the teething months she was very noisy and we couldn’t take jobs on. The thing to know is that when your agency contacts you regarding an assignment you can actually accept or decline. I found that the most important thing was having a good portfolio for my child and keeping her pics up to date, that way she was more likely to be selected from pictures rather than having to attend lots of castings”.
It’s not so much that parents dream of their little baby becoming a model, just that it’s a great experience all round. The photographers and art directors who run the photo sessions are great at working with young babies and anxious parents, because they’ve done it many times before.
The Models Direct team do their very best to put parents at ease, there is plenty of time for naps and feeds, and they love meeting some of the other parents getting involved. The baby needs to be photogenic and it would be also good if they were quirky with plenty of character as they’ve got to have a sparkle about them. Temperament is also important; they’ve got to be good natured and sociable to put up with meeting lots of strangers.
India, Jacob and Zane were so excited to hear from the Models Direct team that they had been successfully selected to star in the new Pukka Pads commercial, how exciting!
The shoot was a full day and would take place in Poole, Dorset. The models would be filmed while playing with two of the Pukka Pads new products, to promote how fun and user friendly they are for children.
There is a huge demand in the industry for commercial models ‘real people’, that is the market most businesses are targeting so it makes sense to use commercial models in their advertisements.
In the advertising world there is a growing desire to embrace diversity, therefore attracting a wider demographic of people. Models Direct has a wide range of talent on their books and a busy dedicated assignments team working every day to reach out to new clients while also maintaining relationships with existing clients.
At Models Direct, we have a varied portfolio of men, women, child, baby and pet models and can find the perfect model for your latest campaign. We are Europe’s number one modelling Employment Agency and have been successfully finding many models for businesses, brands, events, fashion shows and photographers for more than 20 years nationwide.
With the competitiveness of modelling world today many disabled models may be overlooked but at Models Direct, our policy is to offer all our models the same opportunities whether disabled or able bodied.
In addition to the everyday modelling assignments which are open to all disabled models, we have clients who want models to advertise disabled promotions or to sell specific disabled products. Although, as in the world of sport which has embraced disabled people for many years now, within the fashion and modelling industry we are learning that whatever disability you have there is a need to be inclusive when it comes to disabled models and not just to advertise wheelchairs!
Both male and female disabled models are welcome and whatever your disability, age or shape, whether you are in a wheelchair or an amputee, contact us now and have a chat about disabled modelling opportunities at Models Direct Model Agency.
