Baby modelling

There’s starting a career early, then there’s baby modelling.

Babies and toddlers have been used in modelling assignments for years, each one with great effect.

Babies pull at our emotional strings, stirring happy feelings. They are needed for marketing all sorts of brands – more than you’d think. Baby products are obvious examples, but did you know that toddlers have been featured in global adverts for banks, household products and even tyres?

Advertising gurus all have their own reasons for featuring babies in their collective creative ideas. For some, babies represent a product “rebirth” when a new model is unleashed to the public. For others, they try to evoke a sense of simplicity, cutting out the jargon and replacing their message in layman’s terms. Some adverts feature babies for humour. Many, understandably, feature babies just for the cute factor, which is probably the most common theme.

For whatever reason adverting agencies or companies use toddlers as models, babies continue to be one of our most requested types of model. They’re incredibly versatile, and we receive hundreds of requests every year. Along with popular baby brands such as Aptamil and Pampers, we’ve worked with famous football teams, TV series and high street stores, all making Models Direct their first choice when choosing their perfect bouncing baby to make their advertising campaigns come alive and appeal to the general public.

Parents – is there any reason why your baby or toddler couldn’t be the next little ‘un to be awarded Star Status? Of course not, and it all starts with filling out an application. We’ll be in touch with you, and we’ll take it from there. It’s happened to countless babies, as revealed by beaming parents in their reviews.

One of the marvellous aspects of baby modelling is the change in a baby boy or girl’s looks. Over the course of a few months, babies can evolve almost overnight. When once they wowed family and friends with delightfully chubby fingers, dainty white teeth and wispy hair, babies can develop at such a rapid rate that they may be suitable for more modelling jobs than you’d initially think. That’s why we reiterate that keeping a baby’s photos up to date in their portfolios is absolutely necessary. Our clients must see your baby’s true look before they can make their decision.

Babies are also a vital part of another popular type of modelling – family modelling. This is especially appealing because whole families can travel to modelling assignments and work together, usually earning more money and making lifelong memories.

All our clients are thoroughly vetted and are experienced in working with babies. A baby’s comfort is paramount, and parents / guardians are more than welcome to remain on stand-by on shoot to keep a loving eye over their cherished child.

Knowing that a well-known brand sees the same adorable qualities in your baby as you do is a wonderful feeling. After filling your baby’s registration (complete with two clear photos), many parents’ dreams could be realised.
