This season be prepared to make a statement with your footwear – seek out unique shoes that will help you to stand out from the crowd.
A strappy sandal is a ‘go-to’ option for most of us, it’s perfect for those warm sunny days, especially for models who may be shooting all day and be on their feet, the strappy sandal sets off any maxi or midi dress and gives that relaxed, boho feel.
If you prefer more support and a chunkier style however you might prefer to opt for a wedge heel, maybe featuring splashes of colour and perhaps a hint of sparkly detail.
Platforms, flatforms and wedges will give you the added height you might be looking for and can also be the centre-piece of your overall outfit.
Sandals with hefty heels can also be dramatic and will also offer more surface for going bolder on colour and contrasting texture. Look out for substantial cork, rope and rubber bases, teamed up with delicate fabrics across the foot itself. Wear these with floaty summer maxi and mini dresses, as well as rolled up jeans and even shorts if you dare.

Look out for toe thongs with ankle straps and long leg ties; as well as leather and simple black and brown shades, silvers and golds are set to be popular this summer.
Whatever you end up choosing, however, remember the beauty of summer footwear is that it can be dressed up or down!
