A pet’s versatility creates a range of emotions that viewers and readers can connect with; some brands need pet models to establish a “cute factor” (e.g. luxury products), whilst others need them to specifically enhance a product (e.g. pet food). Whatever the assignment, a pet’s welfare is always the top priority, and the brands we work with respect animal’s comfort and safety on set.
We probably provide more pets to brands wanting to photograph or film animals than for any other purpose. TV shows and events do ask us for all sorts of pets, but we receive multiple requests from companies searching for the perfect pet to be photographed or filmed. Animals are usually the focal point of a shoot, but even if their role is accompanying a product or human model, they tend to end up as the stars – animals undoubtedly have the magnetism to be the main attraction.
Pet modelling remains a popular choice for many brands. As the diversity of adverts increases, so does the demand for more striking photos and short films. Recent data from the PDSA reveals that 51% of UK adults own a pet. Of those, 91% of owners agree that owning a pet improves their lives. 88% of owners think that having a pet improves mental awareness, and 69% believe that owning a pet makes them physically healthier (dog owners would certainly concur with this). To conclude, pets provide more than simple friendship.

We don’t blame you if you’ve never thought of modelling. But ask yourself what kind of attributes your pet could bring to a modelling shoot. Your pet could have not-so hidden qualities hundreds of brands are screaming out for. If only you could find the right agency to represent your faithful friends…

Many owners have shared their pet’s success with us post-modelling shoot. But we need more healthy, bubbly pets to cater for the increased demand.
When you fill out your pet’s application, please keep the following in mind:
- Your pet’s photos don’t have be taken by a professional – a Smartphone is fine. But please make sure they are clear and free from shadows, taken against a neutral background.
- Don’t reduce images in size when you upload them.
- Children love pets, but only parents or guardians must agree to application made on behalf someone under 18 years of age.
- Fill out the application form accurately – it should only take a couple of minutes.
