There really is nothing quite like the buzz from being on set at a modelling assignment or seeing those final images for the very first time and knowing you have done a great job!
Whether you are attending a photo or film shoot or have accepted a promotional modelling job, it will certainly be hard work – but it will also be great fun.
Some of our male and female models tell us they cannot believe that one day they are at their office desk or studying in the college library and the next day posing for the camera!
One weekend, they could be hopping on a bus or a tube and the next under the bright lights of a studio or in the stunning surroundings of an outside film location.
The great beauty of modelling is that you could be doing almost anything and it could take you almost anywhere.
You get to see a side of life that is normally hidden and to meet people you might not come across in your everyday life.

And there can be a glamorous side to it as well – some of our models get to wear stylish outfits, try delicious food and even jet off to foreign climes…
And, of course, there can also be the kudos or representing some of the best-known businesses and brands in the country – even the world!
Elle took part in a Models Direct assignment for Cockspur rum. She said:
